德國波茨坦應用科學大學代表團來訪國立臺灣藝術大學
德國波茨坦應用科學大學(University of Applied Sciences Potsdam)數位和國際事務副校長Prof. Constanze Langer、設計學系Prof. Dr. Frank Heidmann、Prof. Dr. Sebastian Miere和國立臺北科技大學互動設計學系王聖銘副教授於2023年9月13日來訪國立臺灣藝術大學。本校由陳嘉成副校長、設計學院石昌杰院長、國際事務處趙玉玲處長、視覺傳達學系林昱萱助理教授及合作組范雅婷組長接待。
本次會議德方代表除了轉交締結姊妹校學術交流備忘錄於本校外,雙方師長亦進行學術合作探討,涵蓋了多個領域,包括數位科技、設計學及互動設計等,並在會議中討論交換學生及交換教師等合作模式。訪問團隊的成員們都是各自領域的專家,分享最新的研究成果、學術見解以及未來趨勢,促進了學術合作和知識共享。
於會議後德方代表團參訪本校「科技藝術實驗中心」、「聲響藝術實驗中心」及「文物維護研究中心」,深入了解本校學術研究設施,並進一步交流學術想法和合作機會。期待這次重要的學術交流能夠為兩校帶來更多的合作機會,推動學術研究和教育的發展。

**German Delegation of University of Applied Sciences Potsdam Visits the National Taiwan University of Arts**
On September 13
th, 2023, a distinguished delegation from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, Germany, paid a visit to the National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA). The delegation included Prof. Constanze Langer, Vice President for Digitalization and International Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Frank Heidmann and Prof. Dr. Sebastian Miere from the Department of Design. Additionally, Dr. Sheng-Ming Wang, Associate Prof. of the Department of Interaction Design at the National Taipei University of Technology, also joined the delegation.
The NTUA warmly welcomed the delegation, with key representatives including Prof. Dr. Chia-Cheng Chen, Vice President, Prof. Chang-Jay Shih, Dean of the College of Design, Prof. Dr. Yu-Ling Chao, Dean of International Affairs, Dr. Yu-Hsuan Lin, Assistant Prof. at the Department of Visual Communication Design, and Dr. Ya-Ting Fan, Director of International Cooperation of OIA.
During this significant meeting, a memorandum of academic exchange between the two institutions was presented. Beyond this, in-depth academic discussions and explorations were conducted, spanning various fields including digital technology, design, and interactive design. Additionally, the collaboration models such as student and faculty exchange programs were also discussed. The visiting experts from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam shared their latest research findings, academic insights, and future trends, fostering academic cooperation and knowledge sharing.
After the meeting, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the NTUA's state-of-the-art research facilities, including the Innovation Center for Art and Technology (ICAT), the Center for Sound Arts and Acoustics Research (CSAAR), and the Historic Object Conservation Research Center (HOCRC). This visit aimed to provide the guests with a deeper understanding of the NTUA's academic research capabilities and further opportunities for academic idea exchange and collaboration. We look forward to this important academic exchange, bringing more collaboration opportunities for both institutions and advancing the development of academic research and education.
