International Student Summer Vacation Departure and Re-entry from Taiwan notice

Due to the global spread of the coronavirus pandemic, Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center (hereinafter referred to as "CECC") calls to avoid any non-essential travels abroadIt is compulsory for all entrants to undertake 14 days of quarantine, regardless of nationality. National Taiwan University of Arts has released anti-pandemic measures for the upcoming summer vacation. Students who plan to depart Taiwan during summer vacation must take notice of the following regulations and risks:
A. Student who plan to exit Taiwan this summer vacation MUST declare "International Student Summer Vacation Departure from Taiwan Declaration form" with professor/advisory's authorized signature, and submit the form to the Office of International Affairs.
B. 14-day quarantine measures: Students returning from overseas MUST be self-responsible for arranging transportation and booking designated quarantine accommodations in accordance with CECC regulations.
C. Students must carefully evaluate the risks and restrictions if CECC's announcement affect re-entry after departure, and take the following risks:
C-1. Fees for applied university dormitory for the upcoming semester must still be paid.
C-2. Suitability for the application of "Eligible coronavirus COVID-19 prevention Flexible Study Actfor the first  semester of 109 school year should be self-evaluated before leaving Taiwan.
D. If a student departs without declaring departure declaration formOR fails to notify changes to the re-entry date, flight number or time after declaration, thus violating school safety measures, will be penalized in accordance with school regulations depending on the severity of the situation.
